Egyptian-Jewish Passover charoset — a dark paste of dates, raisins, walnuts and sweet wine to symbolise the mortar of the enslaved, eaten with matzah at Seder.

- • 300g medjool dates, pitted
- • 150g raisins
- • 150g walnuts
- • 1 tsp cinnamon
- • 1 tsp cardamom
- • Zest of 1 orange
- • 150 ml sweet kosher wine
- • 1 tbsp honey
