  • 3 cups dried ukwa seeds
  • 500g stockfish and smoked fish
  • 1 tbsp potash (akanwu)
  • 4 tbsp palm oil
  • 2 tbsp crayfish
  • 2 scotch bonnets
  • 1 tsp uziza
  • Salt, seasoning

Wash ukwa; boil with potash and plenty of water 90 min until soft and creamy.
