Ingredients

  • 1 chicken, jointed
  • 2.5 cups basmati rice, soaked
  • 2 onions sliced + 1 extra for crispy garnish
  • 3 tomatoes, 4 garlic cloves
  • 2 loomi pierced, 2 tbsp baharat, 1 tsp turmeric
  • Saffron pinch in warm water
  • Ghee, coriander, salt

Brown chicken in ghee, set aside. Soften onions, garlic, tomatoes and spices 8 minutes.
